Blink Cincinnati - AR feature
This conceptual project adds augmented reality to the Blink Cincinnati App. The new AR feature for this app would allow users to revisit the art works of Blink again and again, and continue to interact with Blink throughout the year. This AR feature would replace the installations into the world space through the digital lens of the AR camera. This would also add new depth to these installations as they can become digitally interactive in a new way through the AR experience.
For the design purposes of my video demo, I interpreted one installation from Blink. This installation is the glowing umbrellas, which were installed in an alleyway. I am creating an AR experience which allows 3d models similar to the glowing umbrellas to be viewed at my house. The video demo simulates the experience with these models, both viewing and tapping to interact with them.
